ABOUT JENNA…

Jenna Motley is an actor, writer and director originally from Virginia, now based in Brooklyn. Lighthearted and intimidating, expressive except when she’s deadpan, with a silly and, well…slightly twisted sense of humor, she likes to think her artistry and her being can be encapsulated by her surname: Motley. Keeping people on their toes? Guilty.

As an actor, she is particularly interested in dark and/or raunchy comedies with equal parts mischievous laughter and devastating honesty. As a writer and director, comparably, she likes to explore all of the topics you’re not supposed to talk about on a first date (sex, religion, politics, gender roles, revenge…), most often through a comedic lens, with a touch of gratifying shock value.

In her free time, Jenna can be found in a yoga studio by morning, and on the dance floor (club or bedroom) by night.
